🎯 Junior International 2026 – Bisley 🎯It has been a fantastic Junior International at Bisley for the young athletes representing Crewe Rifle & Pistol Club across the rifle and pistol disciplines.We are incredibly proud to have had nine club juniors competing as part of various regional and national squads:🔫 Precision Air Rifle 10m & 10m 3P• Luke O'Driscoll🔫 10m Sporter Rifle• Zeke Griffiths🔫 10m & 25m Air Pistol• Isaac Baxter • Ben Griffiths • Fabio Cura • Ciara Bebbington • Annie Williams • Juliette Markham • Pippa Watterson🏆 A Fantastic Junior International for Luke O'Driscoll – Representing ESSULuke had an outstanding competition, winning four bronze medals across the rifle events:🥉 10m Rifle Final – 3rd🥉 10m Precision Rifle Men's Team (ESSU) – 3rd🥉 10m Precision Rifle 3P – 3rd10m Precision Rifle Grand Prix – 4thA fantastic achievement and a great reward for all the hard work Luke has put into his shooting. Four bronze medals at the Junior International is something to be extremely proud of. 👏🎯🏆 A Fantastic Week for Isaac Baxter – Representing the West Midlands SquadIsaac Baxter and Fran secured Gold in the Mixed Team event for the third consecutive year. It was a thrilling final, with all four teams still in contention right to the very end.Isaac then added: 🥈 Individual Silver in the Grand Prix 🥇 Team Gold in the 25m eventTo round off an excellent week, Isaac qualified for the Men's 10m Air Pistol Final, narrowly missing out on a medal and finishing in 4th place.A huge congratulations to Isaac and Fran on another fantastic achievement! 👏🏴 Juliette Markham – Representing WalesA special mention goes to Juliette Markham, who represented Wales at this year's Junior International.Juliette delivered some excellent performances across all three events:🎯 25m Air Pistol Rapid – Personal Best 🎯 25m Air Pistol Sport – Season Best 🎯 10m Air Pistol – Season BestAchieving a personal best and two season-best performances at an international competition is a fantastic accomplishment. Well done, Juliette! 👏🎯🎯 Zeke Griffiths – First Junior InternationalFor Zeke Griffiths, this was his first Junior International, competing in 10m Sporter Rifle.Zeke thoroughly enjoyed the experience and put in an impressive performance, finishing as the second-highest placed British shooter in the Grand Prix.A fantastic result at his first Junior International and hopefully the first of many. 👏🎯🎯 Ben Griffiths – Second Junior InternationalCompeting at his second Junior International as part of the West Midlands Squad, Ben particularly enjoyed the 25m competitions.Perhaps the slightly cooler temperatures on the 25m range compared with the main hall helped! 😄🎯Another valuable experience and another opportunity to compete against some of the best young shooters from around the world.❤️ Ciara Bebbington – The End of an EraThis year's Junior International was particularly special for Ciara Bebbington, as it marked her final Junior International.After successfully balancing her shooting career with completing her degree, Ciara now moves on to the next stage of her shooting journey and will begin competing in senior competitions.It has been fantastic to watch Ciara develop as a shooter over the years, and we are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved.Congratulations, Ciara, on a fantastic junior career, and good luck with the next chapter! 🎯👏🥉 Pippa Watterson – A Final and a BronzePippa Watterson can be incredibly proud of her performance at this year's Junior International.Pippa reached the 10m Air Pistol Final, competing alongside some of the biggest names in junior shooting. Reaching the final at this level was a fantastic achievement in itself.She also helped secure Bronze in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event. 🥉A fantastic experience, a great result, and another step forward in her shooting career.Well done, Pippa! 👏🎯🎯 Fabio Cura – First International Pistol CompetitionFor Fabio Cura, this year's Junior International was particularly special as it was his first international pistol competition.Fabio left Bisley with some fantastic achievements, including new personal bests in both 25m Sport Pistol and 10m Air Pistol. 🎯👏Beyond the scores, one of the highlights was catching up with friends from previous competitions and reconnecting with fellow shooters from around the country.A fantastic first international experience, filled with great performances and even better memories.Well done, Fabio! 👏🏴 Annie Williams – Representing WalesRepresenting Wales, Annie Williams produced solid performances in both the 25m and 10m Grand Prix events.Annie saved her best performance for the final day, qualifying for the 10m Ladies Pistol Final.In a closely contested final, Annie narrowly missed out on the bronze medal. Reaching the final and coming so close to a medal against such a strong field is a fantastic achievement.Well done, Annie. A brilliant way to finish the Junior International! 👏🎯It is fantastic to see our juniors competing, gaining valuable experience, and achieving excellent results on the international stage.A massive thank you to the regional squads, coaches, parents, and everyone who has supported our juniors throughout their journeys.We're incredibly proud of every one of you.
