“H” Range
CRPC constructed a purpose built a new 10 lane, 10 metre air range: match funded by Sport England and named as the “H” Range, in memory of the late Harry Hulme.
This air range is air conditioned, the target changers are electronic and it’s built to ISSF standards. There are also prep benches and seating behind the firing line. You are welcome to watch or coach in this range.
Only air pistols and rifles can be used in this range.
.177 is the standard in this range however you can also use .22 air guns in the main range.
The Main Range
The 25 metre range has five points and is for use with section 1 firearms. The calibres commonly used in this range are .22, .38/.357, .44, .303 and .308 but many calibres will need to be downloaded in order to stay within the range limits.
There are electronic target changers which can be set at 20 or 25 yards. Turning targets are also available at 25 yards.
A range officer is present in this range and members are free to come and leave as they please. Cameras record close ups of the targets, which can be seen on the monitors above each firing point.
