Both proudly represented Team GB, competing against a strong international field and truly holding their own throughout the competition.![]()

Annie climbed to mid-table during the individual event and also stepped up to compete in the U18 pairs and trio events — a fantastic achievement and great experience at this level.![]()

After a tough start on Day 1 in the first of the two men’s individual matches, Isaac bounced back impressively on Day 2, partnering with Matilda Baker to secure a strong 16th-place finish in the mixed team event. On the final day, he returned to the men’s individual competition — a hit-and-miss format where each hit requires a score of 9.8 or higher. Narrowly missing out on qualification for the final stages, he scored 20 hits from 30 shots to finish 25th overall — a determined and commendable performance.![]()

Reflecting on the week, Isaac said:![]()
“The week at the Euros was an excellent experience! Lots was learnt over all three matches about myself and shooting. It was amazing to meet and make friends with the international shooting community, and I hope to be at more similar events in the future.”![]()

The championships focused on giving young athletes valuable international experience, and it was a huge step forward in both Annie and Isaac’s shooting journeys. They did themselves — and the club — proud.![]()

It was a great pleasure for Crewe Rifle & Pistol Club to host the British Pistol Club monthly air pistol meeting, welcoming competitors who travelled from all over the country to visit our club.![]()

We were especially pleased that the Chairman of the British Pistol Club was so happy to be back at Crewe. He commented on what a fantastic club and range we have, and that everyone involved should be congratulated on the high standard of facilities and organisation.![]()

Many of our visitors spoke about how much they enjoyed their weekend with us and the facilities we have to offer — particularly the newly updated 10m range featuring our InBand electronic targets, which performed flawlessly during their first full competition weekend. 🚨 Air Range Upgrade Complete! 🚨![]()

Over the past few months, the Committee has been working hard behind the scenes to make some major improvements to our air range — and we’re delighted to finally share the results with you all.![]()

We now have nine lanes of electronic targets, running alongside our traditional whizzers, plus newly installed communication links across the range. This is a huge step forward for Crewe Rifle & Pistol Club and firmly puts our air range up there as one of the best club ranges in the country.![]()

As well as raising competition standards, the upgraded range now offers a fantastic training environment — ideal for developing skills, analysing performance, and supporting shooters at every level. These improvements will greatly benefit members aiming to progress into higher-level competitions and matches, while also allowing the club’s open competitions to be run more efficiently and to a much higher standard than before.![]()

We’re also excited to fully test and utilise the new targets at the upcoming visit of the British Pistol Club, and our members are more than welcome to enter and take part.![]()

🔹 Then at the weekend, Isaac Baxter and Annie Williams are off to the European Junior 10m Championships in Burgas, Bulgaria, proudly representing Great Britain 🇬🇧![]()
