Abby has returned from the 52nd ISSF World Shooting Championships which were held in Changwon, South Korea from 2 – 14 September 2018. Please see Abby’s thank you note below.
Thank you all for making this possible with offline donations from Friends and family and especially my local shooting club Crewe Rifle & Pistol Club and Everybody Foundation grant I achieved a massive total that covered all the costs and what is left over I am putting towards my very own first custom shooting suit.
Flying for the first time ever and Shooting out in Korea for the world championships is by far the highlight of my shooting career. Getting to experience it at my age was so incredible, and I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped me to get there my match was the highlight of the trip, as the range was so amazing. Training hasn’t been going the way I would want it to recently, so shooting better in my match than training was a massive confidence booster, and I enjoyed it so much coming 47/57 in the World with a respectable 604.8 is a great achievement.
